Please list past disordered eating behaviors (e.g. restricting/bingeing/purging, eating disorder diagnosis, body image distortions) and related mental health issues (e.g. depression, anxiety).

Church Involvement

Are you a regular attendee of McLean Bible Church (MBC)? If not, please provide your place of worship.

SPECIAL SKILLS/MINISTRY TEAMS

Note: You did not have to personally struggle with disordered eating or body image issues to participate as a volunteer except for the Peer Coach position. Peer coashes must have had some personal experiences to be eligible for this position.
Support Group Team: Logistical support; manage support group applications and interviews; Peer Coach - supporting a woman in the support group; curriculum development
Resource Center Team: Respond to e-mails/phone calls with requests for information and referrals; updating referrals; encourage and pray with family memers/individuals struggling; collaborate with website developent team in increasing the resources and referrals on the website
Event Planning Team: Plan workshops (e.g. body image workshop), conferences, form speaker bank and book speakers as needed, event logistics, supporting support group ith logistics
Marketing/Volunteer Recruitment Team: Create advertisements for bulletin for support group and volunteers, organize volunteer applications and interviews; get volunteers connected to appropriate team; fundraising
Website Development Team: Build out current wesite with increased functionality, resources and graphics; work closely with all other teams to get inforation onto website and support their mission
Prayer Team: Commit to praying for those in the ministry.
